This new rock belong to the Kaolinite-Serpentine group. A large family with 20 minerals and over 30 commercial names.
This is a Magnesium Silicate ( Mg3Si2O5(OH)4 ) with hydrotalcite and magnetite.
Hardness is 2.5-3 but is quite tough and takes a good polish .
Named after the Lizard Complex locality ,Cornwall. Comes form Snarum, Vikersund, Norway.
