The leucite is a aluminosilicate of potassium with formula: KALSi2O6. Is a feldspatoid. The hardness is 5.5-6.

It is found in potassium rich lava basis, Found is several location such as : USA,Brazil,Germany, Africa , but the only place that produced transparent crystals is Alban Hills near Rome, ITALY. No longer available since many years is became a very rare gem for collectors. The colors is normally white-gray-yellowish; rarely flawless, often included or milky. These stones here are quite clean and belong to an old collection of many years ago.
