CATHEDRAL AGATE
This is a stalactitic agate formed in the caverns near San Carlos, Chihuahua, Mexico. The name probably comes from the Cathedral mountain, Brewster county, Texas . This type of agate shows tubes, plumes and curved banding of reds, yellow colors whose patterns are reminiscent of spires of gothic cathedral. Uncommon.
