Hackmanite
Is a rare sodalite variety with the property of change color is charged with ultra violet light ( either short or long wave): from grey-bluish will turn hot- pink-lavender and will retain this color for hours or days .This phenomenon is called “tenebrescens” from Latin word referring to darkness, also can be called “photocromic” and this process is reversible infinitely .Has been found in Greenland, Russia, USA Afghanistan; this piece comes from Myanmar( Burma).This photo has been takenbefore and after exposure to ultraviolet light.
