Dryhead Agate, Montana, for Dry Head Creek, Big Horn and Carbon counties, Montana, Dead Indian Hill, East Pryor Mountain, and Big Ice Cave. A marine sedimentary agate found in the Phosphoria Formation of Permian Age in the Pryor Mountains. They have also been collected along Dry Head Creek and along the Bighorn River northeast of Lovell. A colourful fortification agate with swirls, eyes, curved lines in alternating red pink, yellow, white or brown. Polished nodule and rough on the back. Size. 53x44.5x16.5 mm.
