APACHE AGATE
Also called “Apache Flame Agate” is for sure one of the best agates in the world.
The rough material is very scarce and only a small percentage can be of good quality.
It comes from Chihuahua state, north of Mexico in a remote area near Ejido El Apache village.
A typical feature are the so called “fisheye” ,small globulites surrounded by orange-red aloes. A note: the most famous agate in the world : the “owl”, is an Apache Agate.
